I am Jo Bauen, tile and stone setter. I love to work with stone, ceramic, and glass tile in colors that reflect nature. Stone and clay suggest timelessness, while glass evokes the infinite qualities of water and sky. These materials bring the natural world indoors, and allow us to enjoy nature's beauty and teachings, up-close and everyday.
I specialize in river and ocean images in my tile installations. What is your favorite body of water? What is its color? What kind of stones are there? Imagine a beautifully tiled room, patio, shower surrond or backsplash with a river or an ocean captured in mosaic tile or pebbles.
I am proficient in all phases of tile installation and preparations for kitchens, bathrooms, and patios including heated floors and shower pans made to your room dimensions.
